Corresponding University of Toronto authors are eligible for no-cost publishing in Sage Choice (and RSM and IMechE) journals under an open access license with no associated Article Processing Charges (APC) through the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN).
This process will begin when corresponding authors identify their affiliation to the University of Toronto. Refer to SAGE's user guide which outlines the author’s workflow and the article acceptance process.All authors will be contacted by the Publisher to inform them of their right to publish the Eligible Article as Open Access with no direct costThe author will only be offered a Creative Commons license Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY or CC-BY-NC). Publisher’s open access portal will provide explanatory text alerting author to why license(s) is displayed. This discount only applies to Sage Choice journals, including the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) journals. Search for eligible journal titles: https://search.scifree.se/utoronto There are a few select journals for which Sage does not offer an open access option that are excluded at this time.
