  • Once an invoice is paid, most publishers are unable to offer refunds. Please ensure applicable discounts have been applied before paying.
  • A corresponding author is generally understood to be the individual who takes primary responsibility for communication with the journal during the submission, peer review and publication process.

Corresponding University of Toronto authors are eligible for a 20% discount on article processing charges for articles published in both gold and hybrid Brill journals.

How do I apply this deal

This discount is applied when an author indicates their institutional affiliation using the auto-fill option and by using their institutional email address at the point of submission. Select 'Open Access' in the submissions menu. Rightslink works on behalf of Brill to coordinate the Open Access process  Make sure to fill out your affiliation once more, which will result in 20% discount as per the agreement between Brill and the University of TorontoBrill’s default Open Access license is CC-BY.
